Playbook Terms of Service

TL;DR
- The Goal: We provide the "marketing stack" to help you hit your first 100 customers.
- Ownership: You own your Playbook outputs. We own the code that generated them.
- Refunds: 14-day window. If the tactics don't vibe with your product, we'll refund you.
- No Passwords: We use passwordless login. Your email is your key—keep your inbox secure.
- No Guarantees: We provide the bespoke tactics, but you have to ship the work. We don't guarantee MRR or "going viral."
- Fair Use: Use the tactics for growth, not for spamming or being a "scammy salesman."
1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up for Playbook or hitting "Generate," you're agreeing to these terms. If you're not down with this, please don't use the tool.
2. The Service & Access
Playbook is a SaaS platform that generates bespoke marketing tactics.
Passwordless Login: We don't store passwords. Access is granted via magic links or one-time codes sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account. If someone else gets into your inbox, they get into your Playbook.
Credits: Paid tiers ($49) include credits for 3x extra Playbooks. These credits do not expire as long as the service is operational.
3. Ownership & Intellectual Property
Your Inputs: You own the product descriptions and audience data you provide.
The Output: Once a Playbook is generated, the specific set of tactics is yours to keep, execute, and profit from.
Our Platform: We own the "Playbook" brand, the UI, the underlying code, and the proprietary logic used to generate the tactics. Don't scrape our site or try to "white label" our engine as your own.
4. Refund Policy (14-Day Guarantee)
We want Playbook to be the most useful tool in your stack.
The Window: You have 14 days from the time of purchase to request a full refund.
The "Anti-Scrape" Clause: To prevent users from generating 100+ tactics, exporting them all, and then immediately requesting a refund, we reserve the right to deny refunds if we detect "bulk generation" or "database dumping" behavior.
5. User Conduct & Ethical Marketing
Playbook is designed to help you scale authentically. You agree not to use the generated tactics to:
- Engage in automated spamming or harassment.
- Violate the Terms of Service of platforms like X, Reddit, or LinkedIn.
- Create deceptive or "fake" marketing campaigns that harm the creator ecosystem.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Playbook is provided "as is." Launching a startup is inherently risky. While our tactics are bespoke and actionable, we cannot guarantee sales, "ramen profitability," or investor interest. We are providing a map; the execution is on you.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Playbook and its founders shall not be liable for any losses, "technical debt," or failed launches resulting from the use of our tactics. Our maximum liability is capped at the amount you paid for the service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to stop providing the service or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we ever decide to "sunset" Playbook, we will provide at least 30 days' notice so you can export your generated Playbooks.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom.
